The shutters remain a maintenance challenge. We know that the ones on the rear of the house need replacing, for example.

The hinges however, were always a concern. In 2021 it became more urgent as one of the shutters had fallen off completely. Several others were hanging on by just one hinge.

Something had to be done.

Upon closer examination, 17 hinges needed to be fixed. This involved removing the stone and resetting the hinge. Not a simple task.

Again Mark and his crew came to the rescue.
