2022 Gite
The roof of the Gite took much longer than anticipated. It remained open to the elements for more than six months resulting in the original internal walls growing mould and rotting.
We may have saved the doors, we shall see. We also dug up the concrete floor and saved a collection of original tiles, that hopefully we may be able to reuse.
The removal of the plaster also revealed a huge stone behind the fireplace and also made it clear that there was once an entrance between the two windows.
