The electricity comes into the house via the side entrance and from there, distributed throughout the house.

Each distribution has its own safety switch, so if someone puts a knife into a toaster, they may get a brief shock but the safety switch will flip. All that is necessary is to reset the switch.

Outage Due to Storms

This has happened and sometimes the system cannot recover on its own. All that is necessary to pull this leaver down for 3-5 seconds and release, push back up. This should reset the supply – a green light will start flashing.

If not, check with neighbours if their supply is also out.
