The Dordogne River

The river is arguably the most naturally beautiful attraction in the whole area. Canoo, kayak, swim, fish or just watch the water pass by.

The Vineyards

The are World-famous vines are everywhere. They are behind Magnolia but more impressively, if you go up the hill, you will find yourself ontop of the so-called plateau. Here, the vines are endless.

Sunset

At anytime of year, the sunsets are spectacular. Walk out to the back of the village or view from the attic.

Sunrise

Especially fabulous in the summer, but missed by most as sunrise occurs at about 4:45am!

St Emilion

St. Emilion is an extremely quaint beautiful town. Well worth a visit and tours of the cave chapel must be arranged in advanced.

Sarlat-la-Caneda

Sarlat-la-Caneda is nother extremely quaint beautiful town in the heart of the Dordogne, and also an easy option to take the train.

Other Places of Interest

Here are a number of other places of interest in the surrounding area. This includes Eymet, a pretty town about 25 minutes away and Chateaux Burrail which is a nice destination for a short evening walk.
