The BBQ uses butan gas. If you wish to use it, please leave it as you found it, hopefully clean.

There is nothing worse than being half-way through the BBQ and the gas runs out. It happened 🙁

So, there are two butan bottles. One is a back-up and has the blue plastic cap. The one without the plastic cap (shown with a red circle) is obviously the one that we are using. So, when it runs out we can take it back for a refill – smart eh, and continue with the BBQ 🙂

Just push the BBQ’s connector on to the top of the butan bottle. Note the green indicator on the tap.

Twist the tap so that it shows red – this frees the gas.

The prime the gas, by pressing the green nob three times. This pushes gas through to the BBQ. The BBQ can then be lit.
