What are Good Day-Trips or even Beyond?
There are plenty of nice day trips, chateaus aplenty plus of course towns and Bordeaux itself. Further away are Sarlat-la-Canéda and the coast.
Where can we go for Lunch or Dinner?
There are a number of restaurants for lunch and dinner, even a pizza van or two that do the rounds. Romantic, views, river scenes? All available here.
What to do on a Rainy Day?
There are plenty of things that can keep you entertained on a rainy day. Table-tennis in the barn, board games, DVDs, PS2 and even Netflix!
Fancy a Bike Ride
We have seven bikes at Magnolia, all of which will get you to St Foy for the market on Saturday. Duras Castle may be too far and hilly, so what about an eBike?
Other Things to Do
Kayaking is super-popular with visitors to Magnolia. In the area there are also gardens to visit, even roman ruins. Further away there are prehistoric sites… but you can always just go for a swim in the Dordogne! There is plenty to do.
