What to do when Water Leaks
For example a burst pipe – it has happened, and will happen again!
1) Turn off the Water
Just go down into the cellar and close the big red handle down so that it is horizontal, as indicated in the diagram.
2) Isolate
You can then isolate the leak, switching off just the cold or hot water supply, and the individual pipe. The main water can then be turned on again.
